After my second serving of ASEA, I knew something amazing was happening. I typically woke up every day at 8:00am and went to bed at 10:00pm like clockwork. After the first few days of taking ASEA, I started going to sleep around 11:30pm and waking around 6:00am. I am getting much less sleep but the next morning I am never tired (pretty impressive considering I do a mini triathlon every day in training). After three days, I noticed that around 3:00pm (the usual time I have to drink a cup of coffee) I took my powder form multivitamin and I felt it kick in just as if I drank a double shot espresso.
Those were just a few of the initial benefits I noticed. After about a week of using ASEA, things really started to get fun. For example, one day I told my wife I was going to go run my usual 3.1-mile route and I’d be back for dinner. I did that 5k in 18:30. Not only was that 30 seconds faster than I have ever done it, but to start right up into a full sprint with no warm-up miles impressed me. I walked back into my house, took a sip of water, looked at my wife and said “I have to go back out.” I went back out on a fast pace run, and though it started raining, I didn’t care. I had to run. When I cam back in soaking wet, my wife said, “How far did you run?” I had run an amazing nine additional miles! I felt great and the next day I was not sore like I should have been after a fast 12.1 mile run. I completed the nine miles in an hour and three minutes, which was faster than I ever imagined being able to complete it.
I also noticed other benefits during the first Olympic duathlon of the season. During the race, I was the overall leader in the first three mile run. Then, on the bike, four athletes passed me. But as soon as I finished with the 25 miles and put my running shoes back on, playtime was over. I passed three of them right out of the gate. I looked down in the final 2 to 3 miles of the 6-mile run and I thought my heart rate monitor was going to say 92-95% of max. I know that is all I can hold before I start fading fast.
Well not today! I was pushing 101% the entire way to the finish line, and I felt like I was jogging. I am more than impressed by what I experienced. I came in 2nd place overall. In previous races I never broke the top 100. Also, the last time I completed an Olympic Triathlon my finish time was 2:55. That day it was 2:08:55! I recommend ASEA to every person I meet because it can do so much for everyone, not just athletes. I have been taking ASEA for more than four month, and I am so happy with my results that I take over 10 ounces a day.
